My Design Process

Start thinking about where the product is currently if you aren’t starting from scratch. What are the main goals and things to be achieved/solved?

What are best practices for the particular project type? Gather inspiration and see what other companies are doing. Audit competitively here or do preliminary user research.

Start designing! Sketch ideas, the more the better. Iterate on sketches until solid concepts emerge and then wireframe them.

Create high fidelity mocks or interactive prototypes if necessary. These are fully fleshed-out ideas. Iteration is necessary. Repeat the process until the project is ready for feedback.

Gather feedback from others and apply any that is applicable. Decide on a final solution. Showcase the project or hand it off to developers accordingly.
